Sepang – It was indeed a time for celebrations as the premier name in travel retail, Malaysia Airports Niaga (MAN), launched ‘Time for Celebrations' today. This event is in conjunction with the launch of the company's Shop and Dine catalogue, aptly titled ‘Celebrations’. The event at Sepang today also marked the commencement of MAN's joint promotion with CIMB's PWP or 'Pay with Points' and the exclusive early launch of the new Gucci Guilty Intense fragrance with Procter & Gamble.

The launch of 'Time For Celebrations' was graced by Muhammad Fawzy Ahmad, General Manager of Malaysia Airports (Niaga) Sdn Bhd; Jean Yap, Head of Group Cards and Personal Financing from CIMB Bank; and Lau Sook Ping, Country Manager of Procter & Gamble (P&G).

“Shoppers certainly have a lot to celebrate with our inaugural catalogue that is now available, not only for the many exclusive items and discounts they can enjoy but also the fact that this being the year end, it is also the time to celebrate achievements throughout the year as well as to look forward to the coming year,” said Fawzy in his speech.

In addition to the exclusive discounts for merchandise featured in the Celebrations catalogue, CIMB card members also enjoy a host of other privileges when they shop at MAN. With the “Pay with Points” (PWP) campaign, they can pay for purchases by redeeming their Bonus Points. Point redemption can be either in full or partial when they make a minimum purchase of RM25, which is equivalent to 5,000 Bonus Points. Not only that, the top 3 cardmembers with the highest accumulated points redeemed will also be in the running to win ERAMAN vouchers of up to RM3,000. The PWP campaign will begin from 1 November 2011 until 31 January 2012.

In conjunction with the launch of ‘Time for Celebrations’, MAN is proud to be the first in the country to offer the new Gucci Guilty Intense fragrance. Not yet launched anywhere else in Malaysia until November, this fragrance from world-renowned brand Gucci can be exclusively found at ERAMAN Fragrances outlets. Guests at the event were given the chance to be among a select and privileged few in the country to sample the new Gucci Guilty Intense and Gucci Guilty Intense Pour Homme fragrances. They were also treated to an exciting fashion preview featuring Malaysia Airports Niaga's very own in-house fashion label, Flying Nomad.

While Flying Nomad features apparel which is mainly targeted to females in their mid 20s to 40s who look for urban chic and practicality, about 20% of the collection will cater to the contemporary man about town. This special sneak peek, which saw a total of 6 models taking to the fashion runway during the Time for Celebrations launch, was very well received and was met with great interest by all the guests who watched the preview while being feted to a light brunch.
